The Cult Mechanicus is the technological bastion of the Imperium, originating on the Forge World of Mars, spreading through the Galaxy on many other Forge Worlds. The purpose of the Mechanicus is to mass produce the technology which is used by the Imperium of Man for almost everything.
Known History[]
The Mechanicus was once a place of scientific discovery and innovation, but it has since developed into a Priesthood which is against Innovation, as it is viewed as corrupting knowledge and other such things. The Mechanicus worship the Machine God, who is supposedly a derivative of the Human God Emperor, and remains safe from being heretics as the Imperium need them so much.
